Inhalation aerosol apitherapy can be used to treat many respiratory diseases, such as congested airways, throat inflammation, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, and others (source; Peter Kapš, 2012). Inhalation aerosol apitherapy includes the inhalation of aerosol from the beehive as well as the inhalation of bee products (honey, propolis, and pollen) using an inhaler. These bee products must be properly prepared to be suitable for use in an inhaler. An inhaler is a device that effectively breaks down a substance into small particles (aerosol), which can then be transported into the respiratory organs.

Inhalation of aerosol from the beehive
Bees form an aerosol in the hive through the movement of their wings. The hive inhalation kit allows for easy inhalation. The adapter attached to the hive features a one-way check valve that enables one-way airflow from the hive to the user's mouth. The ribbed connecting tube is large enough for an airflow of 6-10 l/min. A mouthpiece or a mask can be attached to the tube. The mask has two built-in one-way check valves, allowing air to be drawn from the tube and exhaled air to be released into the surroundings.
